our favorite moments of 2025!
From intimate moments to our largest events ever… The Florista Staff picks of our personal favorite moments of 2025!
As we close out 2025, we’re pausing for a moment to take it all in—and honestly, it’s hard to put into words just how incredible this year has been. This has been our busiest season yet, in the very best way. From packed calendars to long design days and late-night installs, 2025 stretched us, challenged us, and ultimately pushed us to grow in ways we’re incredibly proud of. Every event brought new energy, new ideas, and new opportunities to create something meaningful, and we’re so grateful for the trust our clients placed in us to bring their visions to life.
This year felt like a true creative turning point for our team. Together, we pushed past our comfort zones, explored unexpected color palettes, experimented with scale and texture, and reimagined what event florals could look like. From intimate gatherings to large-scale weddings and statement-making celebrations, our designs became bolder, more intentional, and more collaborative than ever before. The teamwork behind the scenes—brainstorming, problem-solving, and dreaming big—made every finished installation feel that much more rewarding. Seeing our concepts come to life and become part of such important moments is what fuels us, and 2025 delivered that feeling again and again.
Before we step fully into what’s next, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on some of our favorite events from the year. These celebrations represent the creativity, growth, and heart that defined 2025 for us as a team. While we can NEVER fully choose favorites, each one of these holds a special place in our heart and minds. Here’s to a year that challenged us, inspired us, and reminded us why we love this so much.
MEG’S ELOPEMENT IN SANTA yNEZ
My favorite floral event of the year was (drummroll please!!) my own wedding. An elopement held in Santa Ynez, the day was intentionally small, intimate, and deeply personal. As the owner and designer behind my company, I’m usually creating meaningful experiences for others, but this one was different. It was a chance to slow down and design something just for myself and my husband, Ryan. Every detail was thoughtfully chosen, allowing the simplicity of the day and the people we love most to truly shine.
I designed my own bridal bouquet that morning in our airbnb laundry room and it not only reflected both the setting and my personal design style, but I felt that it encapsulated so much of the feelings I have when i'm making bouquets for my other brides. It was a moment where I got to understand on a first hand basis the love and intention that goes into creating for someone's wedding day. While understated in scale, my wedding carried so much meaning and emotion for me. Designing something so simple yet so personal was a powerful reminder of why I do what I do. Flowers don’t need to be grand to be impactful, they just need to feel intentional and above all else, rooted in love.
Caitie’s Pick - T&L at CEdar Lakes estate
T&L's wedding at Cedar Lakes Estate in Port Jervis, NY was, hands down, my favorite of 2025. That ceremony space will forever be etched in my memory! The tree-lined, meandering aisle with colorful meadow flowers and larger-than-life paper poppies felt straight out of a fairytale. Stepping into the reception, I was absolutely obsessed with the design. The custom vintage green tables paired with unique globe table lamps was *chefs kiss*. Side note, those lights are trending for 2026! And of course, the whimsical, overgrown ceiling installation maintained that larger-than-life feeling, making the entire reception space feel magical and utterly encompassing.
Beyond the stunning aesthetic, Cedar Lakes Estate was a dream to work at. The venue staff was incredibly organized and streamlined the entire process for us. And, as always, collaborating with Lisa Gaskarth, whose design taste is simply impeccable, was a sincere pleasure. We love you, Lisa!
Last but certainly not least, we were supported by an absolute DREAM TEAM of some of our favorite florist friends. Even with Meg and I getting a bit sick during the trip, this wedding will undeniably go down as my top wedding of 2025!
EVE’S Pick: Jessie and Joseph
As hard as it is to choose, one of my favorite weddings that we got to be a part of this year was for Jessie + Joseph! Designing the florals for Jessie and Joseph’s wedding was all about creating a super organic atmosphere that felt warm, inviting, and deeply personal to them.
We leaned into a lot of textural blooms, unexpected greenery, and even played off of elements from their backyard garden to make the space feel more like a thoughtfully styled home than a traditional wedding setup. We wanted to create arrangements that were deeply curated, while still feeling effortless and not overdone.
From their backyard ceremony to their loungy reception, every floral detail was intentionally designed to reflect Jessie and Joseph’s impeccable style and lived-in-love, resulting in a celebration that felt cozy, elevated, and truly them.
Grace's PIck: Katharine and Jake
This is always a tough decision, but over the year - this one has stayed as a top notch design moment in my mind. I truly think there is nothing i love more than a simple-borderline-monochromatic palette highlighting a punchy color. In the case of Katharine and Jake’s ceremony and reception, this rich and bold chartreuse has been my obsession color ever since Kelsey Rae Designs mentioned she was leading with it.
We created two fixed installations: one highlighting the entrance to this space, and one drawing your eyes up and down the aisle. Then we flipped the ceremony to line the center of the two tables - creating a lush meadow that filled the gap and created a larger than life dining experience for the guests. I think that this design was one of the more innovative ones we created this year - It took up space, felt dimensional, lush, and modern. And I mean come on… Fritillaria and Clair de Lune peonies? how could this not be everyones favorite product?
WE WANT TO WORK WITH YOU!
